The commands below are organized by category so you can quickly find the type of cheat you need. Some commands are available in the base game, while others are connected to specific expansion packs, game packs or stuff packs.

How to Enter Cheats in The Sims 4

On PC, press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat console. Type testingcheats on and press Enter. Once cheats are enabled, enter the command you want to use and press Enter again.

Commands containing # require you to replace the symbol with a number. For example, a skill command ending in # can be changed to a value such as 5 or 10 depending on the skill.

Traits can be added to a selected Sim by replacing the trait name in the command. To remove an equipped trait, replace equip with remove.

Important Notes About Sims 4 Cheats

Some commands depend on the game version or a particular expansion, game pack or stuff pack. If a command does not work, check that the required content is installed and that cheats have been enabled correctly.
