Alien³ continues Ellen Ripley's nightmare after the events of Aliens. Following her escape from the devastated colony on LV-426, Ripley's spacecraft crash-lands on Fiorina 161, a remote prison planet containing a high-security correctional facility.

A Tragic Crash

Ripley survives the crash, but the journey has come at a devastating cost. Newt and Hicks do not survive, leaving Ripley alone among the prisoners and inhabitants of the isolated facility.

But something else has survived the crash as well. An unwelcome passenger has made its way to Fiorina 161, and before long the prison becomes the hunting ground for another deadly alien creature.

Trapped Without Weapons

Fiorina 161 is not equipped for a fight against an extraterrestrial predator. Weapons are forbidden inside the prison, and the facility is located so far from civilization that outside help cannot arrive quickly.

With nowhere safe to escape and no conventional weapons available, the prisoners are forced to rely on their instincts, teamwork and knowledge of the facility. Every encounter with the creature becomes a battle for survival.

Ripley Faces the Nightmare Again

Ripley has already survived encounters with the alien, but this time the circumstances are even more desperate. She knows what the creature is capable of, while the prisoners have little understanding of the threat now stalking them.

As fear spreads through the isolated facility, Ripley realizes that surviving Fiorina 161 will require confronting the creature once again, even if the odds are against her.

Alien³ places Ripley in another isolated and hostile environment, but this time she has almost no resources to fight with. Trapped inside a prison where weapons are forbidden and help is far away, she must confront the alien threat once again while trying to keep the remaining survivors alive.
