Triple Frontier (2019)

Triple Frontier (2019) follows a group of former special forces operatives who reunite for a dangerous mission in South America. After years of serving in the military, the men decide to use their skills for a private operation, believing they can finally secure financial freedom. Their carefully planned mission becomes increasingly complicated as personal loyalties, difficult terrain, and unexpected consequences test the group. Pedro Pascal plays Francisco “Catfish” Morales, a pilot and former soldier who becomes an important member of the team. The film combines action, adventure, suspense, and character drama.

The former soldiers begin their operation believing that their experience gives them an advantage, but the reality of the mission proves much harder to control. Once the group faces unexpected complications, questions about money, loyalty, responsibility, and friendship become as important as the original objective. Francisco “Catfish” Morales is the pilot who helps the team move through dangerous territory, and Pedro Pascal brings a grounded quality to the role. The film uses its South American setting to create a tense atmosphere while also examining what happens when former military partners leave structured service and attempt to build a new future.
