Aang, the last surviving Air Nomad and the Avatar, awakens after being trapped in an iceberg for a hundred years. The world he once knew has changed dramatically, and the Fire Nation has waged a devastating war against the other nations.

After meeting siblings Katara and Sokka, Aang discovers that he is the Avatar — the only person capable of mastering all four elements and restoring balance to the world. Together, they begin a journey to help Aang master Waterbending while avoiding the forces hunting him.

Aang must learn to control his incredible abilities while coming to terms with the responsibility of being the Avatar. Although he is still a young boy at heart, the fate of the world increasingly depends on his choices.

The Fire Nation
